Quality Care Since 1986

The approach to health conditions goes back a long way. To a time when current diagnostic and procedures were not yet available. Health was determined by observing, listening and palpating. And evaluated in terms of energetic (relative) nature. Treatment was given to "restore naturalness" (balance).

Acupuncture is a very gentle comforting type of treatment which restores "Normal" back to your mind/body/spirit; clearing blockages of energy and activating normal and latent energy potentials for your natural vitality to thrive. The side effects of acupuncture are beneficial in themselves; muscles relax, tension subsides, the mind quiets and clears out stress, blood flows easier, cells become oxygenated, and over-all refreshed.

Everyone describes the effect differently, in their own words. Often, comments are "I feel calm", "I feel alert", "I feel normal", "Its different, I feel calm and alert at the same time", "I feel lighter".

Very fine needles are gently placed, generally from the elbows down, or from the knees down, and generally away from the actual area of discomfort. The patient rests on a treatment table for 15 to 45 minutes, varying by the actual situation. Many drift off to sleep and wake up refreshed.
